Not number 1 anymore...
Betsy: Text message to Troy...CALL ME
Troy: What is wrong? Is Jackson okay?
Betsy: Jackson is fine.
Troy: Okay that is good to hear. Why did you call me then?
Betsy: I have a 101 fever and think I should go to the doctor.
Troy: Okay I will call him.
Hang up
Five minutes later
Troy: I called and he said to get there as soon as possible.
Betsy: Ok I will be ready by the time you get here.
Troy: I am going to eat first, is that OK?
Betsy: FINE! Hang up.
Troy: What is wrong? Is Jackson okay?
Betsy: Jackson is fine.
Troy: Okay that is good to hear. Why did you call me then?

3 week report card...
Baby Jack Report: Jackson is doing well. He has increased his intake of milk from 60 ml to about 100 ml in two days. He also has gained about a pound. He must be going through a growth spur. He is definitely a sweet little boy who likes to be held and rocked. He is growing his own personality and amazes us daily.
Mommy Report: I woke up yesterday with a 101 fever and had to "report" to the doctor. I was very nervous as I did not want to get Jackson sick. However, it turns out that I have mastitis (bacterial infection in the breast). Very painful for me and tiring, however at least I know the little one won't be getting sick from me and I can continue to cuddle with him. On the other hand, since then my milk production has decreased by half, so pray that the milk factory starts back up again.

Breastfeeding 101...
Whoever said it was easy….Stupid.
Whoever said it doesn’t hurt…even more Stupid.
Whoever said it wasn’t frustrating…double Stupid.
Whoever said it was a walk in the park…needs their IQ rechecked.

Lately everything has been centered around my boobs. Either they provide nutrition or they provide the comfort of a pillow. It is amazing how much attention they are getting lately. It is almost to the point where I wish I didn’t have them.
Noises...
It is amazing the noises that come out of a little person. I never in my life thought a burp or fart could be so LOUD and so CUTE at the same time. I guess it is the only time in life when it is okay. I can’t wait to capture it on video tape and post it. I can just hear Jackson sighing now!!!
Side Note: He definitely takes after the Matson side!!!

Before and After Baby Shower
Two wonderful ladies, Tracy and Sally, threw me a baby shower here in Norway. It was a great time and all my friends over here got to meet Jackson. And to all of you wondering, no I did not wear the VIF shirt to the shower!!!
Splish Splash...I was given a bath...
He didn't like it at first but once the warm wash cloth was on him he didn't seem to mind it! Notice how his umbilical cord has fallen off. I will post more pics later of his cute, growing belly!!!
